Associate Marketing Manager, Digital Guest Experience and Performance

Before that box ever arrives at your door, a diverse team of talented people make it happen, from the head office to the kitchen counter and we are currently looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, Digital Guest Experience and Performance to join this team.

Reporting into the Sr. Manager Loyalty, CRM, and Digital Guest Experience.

The Associate Marketing Manager, Digital Guest Experience and Performance will be responsible for the strategy, updates, and optimization of both the Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 website and mobile app.

This role will work closely with the Sr. Manager on the digital customer journey including SEO, the evolution of the loyalty program, digital communications; email, push, and in-app messaging. This is a creative and analytical role, focused on performance metrics, digital insights, and CRM reporting.

What the Role Will Do:

  • Assist manager in developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies and targeted campaigns across all owned channels
  • Backing manager to strategically plan and execute the communication cadence, calendar, and activations including email and push notifications
  • Help develop and manage day-to-day and road maps for both Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 digital updates
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Aid in the optimization of landing pages for SEO and implementing a link building strategy
  • Expand FAQ pages for mark-up and better SEO performance
  • Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion keywords
  • Responsible for Google My Business advertisements for both brands as needed
  • Work with the IT team to understand any nuances with owned channels and ensure best practices are properly implemented
  • Maintain relationships with different internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate website updates.
  • Maintain accuracy between owned digital channels and external vendors including SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, etc.
  • Set benchmarks for the performance of digital advertising across all channels
  • Track, report and analyze owned digital channel performance and metrics.
  • Customize and pull marketing reports from the CRM while establishing ways to further implement the long term digital strategy
  • Recommend and execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI
  • Support the expansion of locally-driven digital campaigns, from end to end.
  • Assist Manager with the evolution of CRM and loyalty programs
  • Develop gift card and e-gift card programs and strategy

Your Requirements:

  • Proven SEO experience
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google My Business, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, Firebase)
  • Working knowledge of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Advanced insight of WordPress is an asset, working knowledge required
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Experience with FAQ mark-up platforms
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Knowledge of data aggregators and basic understanding of local listing and reviews
  • Comprehensive insight of CRM and digital communications
  • Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills
  • SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Data Aggregators
  • Insight of SEM reporting and analytics
  • Experience with project tracking platforms (Asana, Hive) is an asset
